LITTLE KIDS... Summer reading is winding down but don't stop reading! Remember to bring your reading charts with you when you come to the Library - you've still got time to keep earning cool prizes.

ON HIATUS.... The computer classes and book discussion groups will take a break during the month of August. They will resume in September.

Let us know what computer skills you might be interested to learn, including: Library resources/database searching, PowerPoint, Exploring Windows, Basic Internet, Beginning Word Processing, Advanced Word Processing, Social Networking and Communications.

COMING SOON... The F.D. Campbell Library has been selected, along with the new Castle and Ellwood City Libraries, to be a pilot for the new circulation system to be implemented this fall. We are very excited and honored to be chosen by the state and invite you to share the anticipation with us! As with any transition, there will be questions, quirks, and quandaries, but we hope to keep them to a minimum as we go through training and complete the migration. As the process continues, being sure to have your library card with you, returning borrowed items on time, and cleaning up any delinquent fines/charges will be extremely helpful for a smooth transition.

Let's group and regroup... Watch for further information about:

Teen Advisory Board - an organization for teens to discuss constructive Teen programming, ways to help the Library and more.

Friends of the Library - an organization for volunteers to work on ongoing projects, discuss, and implement ways to help the Library, physically, monetarily or in any way that works for the group and is accordance with Library policies.

Thanks to our generous donors and supporters:

Linda Siegel

Bessemer Presbyterian Church Women's Club... who have made it possible to continue our Movie Nights with a generous donation toward Audio Visual materials.

Jill Trotter (Cowlicks)... for making our programs sweet!

Those who gave precious time and energy to make the Book Sale a success.
